Rama: Electricity price won't increase

Prime minister Edi Rama has said that debtors have only 5 days to pay the electricity bills. In a press conference at noon, Rama said that time has come for thieves to face the law.

"The operation will have the full inclusion of all state police forces. Today we have completed an operational plan that will include the distribution company and the State Police. Any thief would face law", he said.

During his speech, the prime minister stressed that the action against power theft will begin from big businesses. "I'll start from those who are the main problem. Of those who have large factories and businesses and to pay as households.

We will not increase the price of electricity, but will change the limit of 300 KW. Thieves can not continue to steal power", he further said.
